In 2008 we released several new products into the range. Although we had Rainforest Alliance & Fairtrade coffee beans to offer customers, we felt we needed to expand on this and look at other ways we could support the Fairtrade initiative.Introducing Jasper Colombian Instant coffee-Certified Organic & Fairtrade
100% Arabica Premium Freeze Dried coffee
Sustainably grown coffee from the highest mountain slopes in Colombia, the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Warm Caribbean winds and sun, fertile soil and pure mountain water, combine to produce one of the world's finest arabica coffees. Freeze dried to retain its succulent flavour profile, a sweet caramel taste with a milk chocolate finish.
FAIRTRADE gives rights to some of the worlds poorest producers. Choosing Fairtrade products builds roads, teaches children, buys medical supplies, changes lives and re-humanises the food supply chain.
Australian Certified Organic- No chemicals or pesticides have been used in the growing, harvesting and processing of this coffee.
As a shade grown coffee, the coffee trees are planted under an indigenous forest canopy, not a plantation. This ensures a natural habitat and food for local wildlife and birds.
