WMF & Ericsson a "Winning" combination
Friday, December 14, 2007
It was 5 long years in the planning and took countless hours to co-ordinate, but on Monday December 10th, 2007 the new Corporate Office for Ericsson Australia was finally opened at Docklands Victoria.
When we were approached by the Ericsson steering committee in October to provide a coffee solution for their new office housing 900 staff over 4 floors, we knew the WMF Bistro Easy was the right coffee machine solution.
The pressure was on from the beginning when we received the Purchase Order in mid October. Normally with a project of this size we allocate 12 weeks to cover the manufacture of the coffee machines, sea freight to bring them from Germany, and finally set up & installation. How were going to do all of this in only 7 weeks at possibly the busiest time of the year?
It took 4 of us working around the clock and with builders still assembling benches and electrical fittings, but we met the deadline much to the delight of Management. Senior Management at Ericsson desperately wanted all of the new machines in place so that staff would be able to enjoy a great cup of coffee on their first day!
The 12 WMF Bistro Easy with an integrated milk solution have proven to be every bit as reliable as they are renowned for. The machine makes every type of coffee available, and the staff seem appreciative of the effort that has gone in to the whole project.
The Bistro Easy is ideal for any office with 100+ staff.
