Franke Coffee Machines
The success of Franke Coffee Systems can be
attributed in no small measure to the entrepreneurial foresight of Mr.
Willi Pieper, the company’s former proprietor and father of the current
chairman and CEO. In 1984 he acquired the coffee machine manufacturer
Augsburger with the intention of developing a high-tech appliance that
would generate a high level of value.
Franke
Coffee Systems is today chalking up sales of CHF 154 million, 80 per
cent of which are realised abroad. In addition, we have gained strong
bases in Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, the USA and Japan. We have,
first and foremost, our workforce and partners worldwide to thank for
the way our company’s history has progressed so impressively. We
wouldn’t be where we are today without them!
