Jura The Company
As a pioneer in the field of automatic espresso/coffee machines JURA has been a main contributor to the household appliance sector since the middle of the 1980s. Now, the company uses its experience and know-how for the development of semi-professional appliances for the office and foodservice sector.
In this rapidly growing market, JURA supplies a range of top-quality products with one aim: to get the best possible cup of coffee regardless of how the beans are blended or roasted.
Any innovative product is preceded by the development of new concepts, technologies and design. And every day at JURA, a team of highly qualified and motivated product developers, engineers, designers and marketing specialists search for answers to a single question: what will espresso and coffee machines look like in the future ?
To meet its production needs, JURA has entered into a strategic alliance with a major OEM at the forefront of its own field. All JURA espresso and coffee machines are manufactured in Switzerland, as indeed are the vast majority of our core components.
Apart from developing products, our expertise embraces marketing, distribution, after-sales service and logistics. Our headquarters in Switzerland supply markets with marketing tools, service competence and replacement parts.
Sales and distribution companies build up their markets professionally with a profound knowledge of local conditions. A uniform global image is a crucial factor in JURA's progression from a prominent Swiss brand to a dominant international one in the coffee market
The Design Factor
The kitchen has undergone a major role reversal in recent times. Viewed for many years purely as a work area, it is becoming an increasingly central part of our living space. People meet in the kitchen to talk and work and simply to be. It is a place to invite and entertain friends.
As a result, the demands made on kitchen appliances and their design have risen accordingly. Coffee machines and other kitchen appliances have become expressions of style and good taste. An IMPRESSA is no longer "just" a coffee machine so much as a design object in its own right, chosen to enhance the interior as a whole.

The way an object feels is an expression of its value. This is one of the reasons why we chose solid aluminium for the front panels of the IMPRESSA F90. The 3-mm-thick material, combined with heavy, polished cast metal components, sets off the machine's clear-cut lines to full advantage.
It is a well-known fact that enjoyment is also a visual phenomenon. Illuminating the cup ensures that each perfect coffee is seen in the best possible light. It focuses attention on the superb "crema" and helps turn the enjoyment of coffee into an expression of the culture that surrounds us. After all, there is nothing like the pleasure of anticipation.
