Having been around the coffee industry now for 8 years, I've seen alot of quality come out of Europe over the year.
When I went to Milan for HOST 2009- our Industry's major bi annual fair, I really wanted to see what Swiss company Franke had to offer. I'd seen Franke machines at various businesses over the years but I had heard that they were relaunching the brand in Australia after several years of mediocre sales.
I can honestly say that Franke had the best stand, the most diverse range of fully automatic machines and some very exciting and innovative products.
While some manufacturers have stagnated Franke have begun rolling out a new range of coffee machines for the Australian market. I decided to buy a Franke Evolution because I liked the machine and I haven't been disappointed. Not only does it look impressive-like a real coffee machine made of steel and not plastic, it delivers great coffee with ease.
The EVO as its called, makes up to 20 different coffee combinations and can make two cups simultaneously. It has a 6 litre integrated milk fridge where many other coffee machines in its class only have after market milk fridges that cannot compete.
I'd highly recommend the Franke Evolution for any business that values quality & innovation in its products.
