It was in late 2004 that I remember first hearing about the Jura Impressa Z5. It claimed to be the most advanced machine of its kind, able to deliver one touch coffee production without moving the cup from froth to coffee. It also claimed to have the most sophisticated auto frother ever seen on a machine in the sub $ 5,000 category.
Since our first machine was delivered in early 2005, I can happlily say that the Z5 is everything Jura said it was going to be and more!
I believe in years to come, this machine will rightfully takes its place as one of the best automatic coffee machines ever made.Yes, one might say that at almost $4,000 it should be.
What Jura does better than anyone else is design great looking machines that always seem to have an advantage over the competition. In this case its the auto frother- quite simply it delivers the best dense textured milk for perfect latte's or frothy milk for cappuccino.
The Z5 is also compact enough to fit a small kitchen and is robust enough to deliver 30+ cups a day no problem. The Z5 grinds the strength of coffee you want for each cup and allows you to control how much water you draw over the coffee powder for absolute control.
It's 2 years on from my first Z5 and quite frankly I haven't seen another company that has done a better job of packaging a ton of benefits into one machine. Try one you won't be disappointed!
